AMAZON EXPEDITION
Inner restoration for outer regeneration
with Amazonian Communities and Ecosystems
A unique two-week experience curated to take participants on an immersion into Amazonian cultures, traditions and ecosystems, while also directly contributing to local community projects supported by El Puente. Expeditions are currently offered twice a year.
Upcoming Expedition: Dec 1-15, 2024.
Join the El Puente Team
You are warmly invited to join El Puente on our upcoming expedition where we’ll enter the landscapes of our four Pilot Projects. Step into these diverse, vibrant territories of the Amazon, share sacred spaces of ceremonies, and stimulate your senses in feasts with the local communities, while exploring the nourishing forests that sustain them.
The expedition is an opportunity for you to form a relationship with the communities and projects we are currently focused on, connecting with various Indigenous peoples and local communities, meeting their elders and leaders, while taking an active role in the biocultural preservation and regeneration of these invaluable territories.
The experience will also offer an opportunity to form deeper connections between El Puente and our supporters, our first step towards a thriving, interdependent bridging ecosystem.
Time is of essence
With the expansion of popularity in psychedelic healing and sacred plant medicines, it has become ever more obvious that the voices of our planet’s indigenous populations must be heard and respected as we move into the future. Held within their cultures is a deep wisdom and understanding of what it means to live in balance and harmony with the natural world. In times of such harrowing and alarming planetary need, we need this wisdom more than ever.
We invite you to be a part of El Puente’s intercultural bridge, making a meaningful impact on the planet’s health and one of its most delicate life-support organs: the Amazonian rainforest and her resilient populations.

During the expedition, we visit two lineages of ayahuasca ceremony practice: Santo Daime and Huni Kuin. We will be visiting the original settlements of Santo Daime in the Brazilian Amazon, where the leaders and communities of these communities lead the Santo Daime ceremonies.
The Huni Kuin ceremony is led by the young, renowned indigenous leader, Mapu Huni Kuin, and accompanied by other Huni Kuin family members.
